Quality Assurance Technician- 1st Shift
Duties:
- Testing and inspecting dimensions, weight, temperature, and performance
- Conduct online inspection and process control limits
- Compile and evaluate data to maintain quality and reliability of products
- Understand and enforce principles of HACCP, GMP and GDK Foods quality standards
- Assure that 100% of Raw Material, In-Process and Finished Product not adhering to standards is contained and not used in production or shipped to customers.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in food manufacturing environment in a QA/QC role
- Knowledge of trend analysis preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in manufacturing and/or distribution environment; preference given to candidates with experience in inventory control or production planning in a food manufacturing facility
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Basic math aptitude
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Strong organization, analytical, and deductive reasoning skills
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Compensation:
$20.00 per hour
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
Manufacturing plant environment with varied temperatures including hot, cold, and freezer. The work environment includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on high places, and/or exposure to chemicals in work setting. Incumbents are frequently required to stand, walk, hear, bend, stoop, climb, crouch, kneel, reach overhead, pull lifting to 50lbs, and push unassisted.
